Corporate Giving
Voyages Hotels & Resorts supports charities and not-for-profit organizations, we use the following criteria to assess each request for sponsorship:
- Aligned with Voyages Hotels & Resorts' core values
- Relevance to the community
- Commitment to sustaining the environment
Every year Voyages donates accommodation packages to a variety of charities and organizations to be sold at fundraising auctions. Many local community-based events are also supported via recommendations from individual resort management, ensuring our properties give something back to the communities where they operate.
We work with charities that educate and support the local indigenous communities where we operate; organizations that improve the lives of sick children; charities that raise funds for cancer patients; and organizations that care for our guests and staff at our properties.

STARLIGHT CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION

Since 1998, the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia's mission has been to brighten the lives of seriously ill and hospitalized children and their families, by delivering innovative programs that restore the fun, laughter and joy that serious illness takes away.
Physical recovery is only part of the solution. The Starlight Children's Foundation delivers programs designed to make children happy and lift their spirits when they need it most. The Starlight charity organisation brings fun and laughter to children no matter what their illness or where they live.
Since July 2004, Voyages has been a strong supporter of the Starlight Children's Foundation, offering holiday packages for the charity's enormously successful "Wish" program, as well as donating packages to national and state/territory fundraising events.
RED DUST ROLE MODELS

Voyages Hotels & Resorts has sponsored Red Dust Role Models since 2000, helping to accommodate some of Australia's leading athletes as they visit remote Aboriginal communities.
Red Dust Role Models uses the profile and influence of positive role models to deliver health messages and inspire healthy lifestyle decisions among remote, indigenous youth.
Following their visits, community leaders relate stories of higher attendance rates at school, increased participation in sport and less destructive behaviour.
Health workers and teachers have observed a significant decrease in the incidence of petrol sniffing and other forms of substance abuse in the wake of athlete visits.
THE CANCER COUNCIL'S POSH AUCTION

Established in 1955 The Cancer Council's objectives include advocating for improvements in the prevention, treatment and care of persons with cancer; supporting persons with cancer through the provision of information, support services and fundraising for cancer support groups and other activities.
Voyages works with the Cancer Council through its annual POSH fundraising event. POSH is one of Sydney's great social events with Vince Sorrenti as Master of Ceremonies and 720 generous guests in attendance. In 2007 Posh raised $1 million; over the past eight years $4.2 million net profit has been contributed towards cancer research.
THE NELUNE FOUNDATION

The NELUNE Foundation is a not-for profit charity that supports children, adolescents, adults and their families through cancer by providing emotional support, care and post operative medical aids which are not covered by government funding or a medical fund.
The organisation was co-founded in 2001 by Anna Guillan, Voyages Executive General Manager Sales & Marketing, and Nelune Rajapakse OAM.
Nelune is a cancer survivor who knows and understands the difficulties of being diagnosed with this illness.
The NELUNE Foundation aims to provide psychological and practical support, assistance and care for public hospital and underprivileged cancer patients in the community - 'Helping Patients Fight Cancer With Dignity'.
Voyages supports the Nelune Foundation at its annual Lilac Ball, Lilac Swim and other fundraising events.
